My name is Aimee Munroe and I am a BWI trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, an Infant and Pregnancy Loss Doula, and a mother to two beautiful girls.
It is my belief that pregnancy, birth and postpartum is a sacred time in a woman’s life. A time to tap into our power and channel the generations of women who have birthed and mothered before us. We all walk this sacred path together. I am passionate about birth and motherhood and it is my wish that every birthing person feels supported and loved during this transitional and formative time in their life.
As your doula, either during pregnancy or in the postpartum, I will nurture your emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. You will be given the resources and tools to advocate for your birth and parenting choices and ensure that the power stays with you.
I will use my experience both as a mother, and a trained doula to ensure that you have the best experience possible.
I would love to meet up for a free consult and discuss if these services are right for you.
My name is Emily Ollinger and I’m a Birthways International trained Birth and Postpartum Doula. I’m also a mother to two lovely little humans, a son who is nearly 6 and a daughter who is nearly 2!
I heard a saying once that went “the birthing mother is a portal between this universe and another”, and I feel like this is the closest I can come to summing up the enormity and importance of this journey.
Pregnancy, birth and postpartum are a time when a mother and her support system deserve to feel empowered and supported in all aspects. In North America, pregnancy, birth and postpartum almost seem to be regarded as medical emergencies. I want us to reclaim our right to listening to ourselves and birthing and parenting in ways that feel right to us. This will look different for every birthing person but no matter the birth you envision for yourself, you deserve to be deeply cared for.
This is where we step in! Both the personal and professional experience Aimee and I have in the birthing and postpartum communities equip us with the tools to support and empower you through this sacred time.
My name is Brittany Mamer and I’m the newest addition to Sacred Path Doula team! I am honoured to join Aimee & Emily in supporting our community. I am a Birthways International trained Birth and soon to be, Postpartum Doula. I’m also a mother to two beautiful babies, my daughter is 4 years and my son is 2 years old!
I have come to believe that everything in life happens for you, not to you. In every aspect of your life you are led to what aligns and speaks to you. Each of my birth experiences were completely different; this lead me to experience a vast range of care that women receive while they are pregnant and in labour. It inspired me to learn more, empower women, and do something to hopefully make a positive impact on other women’s experiences.
Pregnancy, birth and postpartum are a time when a mother and her support system deserve to feel in control, empowered and supported. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in your decisions throughout your journey. We are the true experts on our bodies, and on our babies! All of our experiences will be different and unique; that is what makes birth such an amazing journey. Your story is 100% yours!
We are here to help you own that journey. Whatever type of birth you are hoping for, you deserve to be deeply cared for and respected.
This is where we hope we can assist you. I will use my experience as both a mother, and a trained doula to ensure that you feel empowered and in control during this sacred time.
